SAMURAIZ acquires the personal information through fair means. With the exception of exceptional cases provided by statute, SAMURAIZ publishes the intended use of the personal information in advance, notifies the person himself or herself of the intended use promptly after acquisition of the personal information or publishes the intended use promptly after acquisition of the personal information; provided, however, SAMURAIZ publishes the intended use of the personal information in advance when SAMURAIZ acquires the personal information at first hand.
SAMURAIZ identifies the purpose of intended use of the personal information as much as possible. SAMURAIZ utilizes the personal information within the scope of the intended use; provided, however, this shall not apply in cases where SAMURAIZ obtains a prior consent from the person himself or herself and where there is the exception by statute.

SAMURAIZ maintains the accuracy and up-to-dateness of personal information constituting a personal information database (“personal data”) within the scope of the intended use. SAMURAIZ takes necessary and appropriate measures and supervises employees and contractors for security control.
SAMURAIZ does not provide the personal data to a third party except in the following cases:
(1) When the person himself or herself has given a prior consent to the provision,
(2) When SAMURAIZ consigns the handling of the personal information to a third party within the scope necessary to achieve the purpose of use,
(3) When complying with laws and regulations,
(4) When disclosure is necessary for the protection of human life, human health or property and it is difficult to obtain the consent of the person himself or herself and
(5) When providing the personal data is necessary for cooperating with a state organ and a local government (including contractors) in executing the affairs prescribed by laws and regulations and obtaining the consent of the person himself or herself impedes the execution.
According to laws and regulations, SAMURAIZ complies with the inquiries and the following requests from the person himself or herself concerning the person’s retained personal data : Request for disclosure; Request for correction; Request for deletion; and Request for cessation of use.
